EUETU Lab - social program

After being the only woman in a leadership position on several occasions and sitting at many production and agency tables without the presence of a black or LGBTQIAP + professional occupying leadership positions, I understood my duty to contribute to affirmative policies and to work on the grassroots of education.

From this desire  EUETU LAB was founded – a free mentoring project that aims to insert and promote professional strengthening of young black, indigenous, LGBTQIAP+, and female filmmakers, prioritizing peripheral communities and regions of socioeconomic vulnerability. This is a biennial project that works as an incubator for 6 young talents In Brazil.

The Lab was born inspired by the ancient technologies of social grouping, honoring the Afro-indigenous philosophies and the vision of original peoples, who organized themselves out of collectivity. In Guarani, Teko Porã, in Quechua, Kawsai, in South Africa, Ubuntu – those are all philosophies that can be translated as "I am because you are'' and evoke the question “Is my personal progress at the service of my community's progress?

Would you like to know how to collaborate? You can include them on your teams and you can also become an associated mentor.
